Zyklus, Mutterschaft, Revolution – was treibt eine Frau in den Widerstandskampf? Für welche Idee lohnt es sich zu sterben oder zu töten? Inspiriert durch die syrischen Frauenverteidigungseinheiten, kurz YPJ, und die literarischen Werke Gioconda Bellis entstand „Camouflage“. Am Chinesischen Mast riskiert Sabeth Dannenberg als Performerin und Choereografin kraftvoll und poetisch die Auseinandersetzung mit weiblicher Radikalität und deren gesellschaftlicher Bewertung.

Sabeth Dannenberg aka Physical Monkey steht für akrobatische Ausdrucksformen, körperliches Spiel und selbstbewusste Inszenierungen. Die Physical-Theatre-Alumna der Folkwang UdK entwickelt in eigenen Stücken und Choreografien eine eigenwillige Handschrift: Persönliche und politische Themen wie Weiblichkeit und Community verhandelt sie in eindrucksvollen Bildern und Narrationen am Chinesischen Mast. Die vier Meter hohe vertikale Stange steht im Zentrum ihrer künstlerischen Arbeit an der Schnittstelle von Physical Theatre und Neuem Zirkus: Impulse dafür erhielt sie am Circus Warehouse New York und mit dem Diplom am Instituto Nacional de Artes do Circo in Portugal.
