Mein Gott, warum schreien Sie denn so?

Genuss ist unser höchstes Gut. Wir alle streben danach. Im Kleinen wie im Großen. Dabei bleibt die Art und Weise, wie wir genießen, eine individuelle, obwohl wir scheinbar alle gewisse Regeln beachten müssen. Aber unter welchen Rahmenbedingungen entsteht Genuss, und wie müssen wir diesen rechtfertigen? Erst die Arbeit, dann das Vergnügen.
Paulina Alpen, Studiengang Schauspiel, und Mats Süthoff, Studiengang Physical Theatre, begeben sich in ihrer Abschlussarbeit an der Folkwang Universität der Künste zusammen auf eine körperlich poetische Suche nach der Frage: Was ist Genuss? Inspiriert von dem gleichnamigen Buch „Die Genießer“ des befreundeten Künstlerduos Marie und Feline Grub nutzen sie eine bunte Mischung theatraler Mittel, um das Thema für den Zuschauer sinnlich und körperlich erfahrbar zu machen. Ein Menü der Genüsse, voller Klischees und Abgründe, auf einem Silbertablett serviert. Bon appetit!
