Zwei Junggesellen leben in einem winzigen, gemeinsamen Haushalt. Ihr Einfallsreichtum, um Platz zu sparen, ist meisterhaft: Das Klavier wird zum Bett, das Regal zum Kühlschrank, Salz und Pfeffer schweben von der Decke. Was den beiden aber fehlt, ist eine Frau an ihrer Seite. Und so basteln sie sich eine – mit unabsehbaren Folgen! Jakop Ahlboms »Lebensraum« ist eine Hommage an den großen Stummfilmkünstler Buster Keaton. Zusammen mit Ralph Mulder und Leonard Lucieer von der Band Alamo Race Track bringt Jakop Ahlbom den Zauber der Stummfilme auf die Theaterbühne. Für dieses Glanzstück zwischen Pantomime, Tanz, Akrobatik, Musik und Illusionskunst wurde der schwedische Choreograph und Regisseur Jakop Ahlbom u.a. mit dem begehrten VSCD Mime Award ausgezeichnet.


„Man muss nicht einmal ein Fan des Werkes von Buster Keaton sein, um Freude an dieser unfassbaren Toberei von einer Performance zu haben. ... Die Vorstellung beginnt mit einer eindrücklichen Zurschaustellung des unglaublichen Timings der Darsteller und ihrer fein aueinander abgestimmten Koordination.
