LifeBag is a performance based on movement, music and dance: Eight bodies act in a symbolic space, sketched by a structure of hanging bags. The weight of each bag — pulled and manipulated by the strings — represents all the experiences one has to carry. May it be the weight of a relationship, the load of work, the burden of life. And last but not least the weightiness of death. And what happens if the structure in which we are moving only sees interpersonal relationships as a mechanical interaction? How can an individual face such a »society-machine«? Do the eight characters have to find their own way through all the impassibilities or does the social structure give them something to hold on to?
